The First Annual Queens of the Community Fashion Brunch

On May 3rd, 2025, The First Annual Queens of the Community Fashion Brunch, was held at Julia T and Charles W. Cherry Center (Midtown) from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The event was opened with a prayer by Dr. IVORY WEBB of Greater Friendship Baptist church, with a live vocal performance by Danielle the songstress, a key word of motivation was provided by Tina Carlyle RN MSN ARNP and dance of love graced the floor by a Jazmyn Harris kicked off with the 1st walk by Stay Fly Accessories Anna W. Alexander (owner and organizer of the event): the models walked the stage with lavish colors, oversized hats, matching jewelry with trendy clutch purses.

The second walk was by Candy Hand Artisan Jewelry inspired by Vivian Weber and Sophia Mims the ladies took us on a tour of Daytona Beach with over-the-top jewelry to enhance their attire.  The 3rd walk was by Rhoda Marie with a western theme in which Beyonce's Blackbird was played, and the Yvonne Scarlett Golden models debuted.

The last walk was by the ladies of the Cherry center who wore Africa attire and made a tribute to the late Ophelia Mrs. Fifi Robinson with her beautiful hats. The event was closed by Eulissa Boyd with a profound spoken word that had everyone getting ready for next year.

The design was by Blush Decor and Design (Alisha Smith) and the catering was by "Who's cooking catering?" (Marjorie Rayam and Brishaun Rayam), music conducted by Dj Dr. Moon and MC by the fearless Jenece Sunshine Giddens.
