DAYTONA BEACH, FL- Brown & Brown, Inc., the sixth largest insurance brokerage in the U.S., located in Daytona Beach, Florida will present a $50,000 check to the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune National Statuary Hall Campaign, Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. on the birthday of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. The National Statuary Hall Campaign kicked off in April 2018, and to date has raised $370,000 of the $400,000 goal. The statue of Dr. Bethune is expected to be unveiled in the nation's capitol in 2020. B-CU has partnered with the Daytona Beach Area Chamber of Commerce to garner additional community support. The presentation will be located at the Mary McLeod Bethune Foundation Home, 640 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 during a celebratory open house in honor of Dr. Bethune's birthday.
