Daytona Beach became the destination for bikers from across the country as they arrived to enjoy the entertainment, food and shopping at Bike Week. The traffic on the beachside, Main Street and US Highway 1 came to a stop on Friday as bikers began their vacation at The Worlds Most Famous Beach.

The streets of Daytona are filled with very large crowds, as was expected, as the estimated 500,000 bikers roll into town for the event.

Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard vendors are setting up at the hub of activity that takes place in the Black community. Second Avenue will become much busier by the middle of the week.

This weekend entertainment on the 800 Block of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard will be plentiful and the street will be filled with fancy bikes, food, entertainment and festivities.
