Anyone with pre existing conditions (COPD, Diabetes,etc............can schedule for a Pfizer booster shot at the Islamic Center on Friday September 3rd 2021 (2:00 pm - 4:00 pm) Adults must have been vaccinated with the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine after their second dose was administered eight months ago to be able to receive the Booster shot. Johnson and Johnson Booster shots is not available at this time.๐Ÿ•Œ The Booster shots dramatically raises antibodies against the Coronavirus๐Ÿ•Œ Previous Announcement:

The Volusia County Health Department is very excited to announce that the second COVID-19 shots will be administered at the Islamic Center of Daytona Beach on Friday September 3rd 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm under the pavilions if the weather permits. ๐Ÿ•Œ The second vaccine shots is available for the Muslims and Non- Muslims in our community that have received their first COVID -19 vaccination on August 15th at the Islamic Center. ๐Ÿ•Œ Anyone ages 12 years and older receiving their second vaccinated shot, must receive the same vaccine that was administered the first time either Moderna, Pfizer or Johnson and Johnson. ๐Ÿ•Œ Unfortunately, many countries still do not have access at all or to any type of vaccines.๐Ÿ•Œ Alhumdulilah, the Islamic Center is the only facility that was given the opportunity to have three choices to select from.๐Ÿ•Œ We would like to show much appreciation to our beloved, scholar doctors that have medically informed us of the knowledge needed for a clear understanding of why the vaccines are important to our well-being.

Allah has blessed these well known doctors in our community with the medical knowledge to help all of the people with their support and concerns.๐Ÿ•Œ May Allah reward each one of our nurses, doctors and caregivers with the best in this life and the next.
