The African American Museum of Deland Florida hosted Writer/Author Ann-Marie C. Garden on April 6, 2019. She is a native of New York Cities Bronx borough. She published her first book “Make Way for Rene” to educate the public on bullying. Ms. Gardens book tells the story about a young girl who encounters bullies in school while suffering from low self-esteem.
