On Monday, January 20, 2020, I had the opportunity to attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Deland, Florida at Earl Brown Park. The annual historic march went from the MLK Signature Breakfast at Stetson's Rinker Field House through Downtown Deland to Earl Brown Park for a all-day celebration.
There were plenty of activities for the festival attendees. There were food vendors, authors selling their books, voter registration booths, basketball tournaments for the youth to participate in and entertainment from local youth church groups that performed praise dances on the stage. The Vibe Band also performed at the festival on that day.
