Daytona Police Department To Host A Charity Bike Ride Honoring Officers Killed In The Line Of Duty

Get into gear for a wheelie exciting bike ride for charity! Join us Saturday, Sept. 12, for the 2020 Tour de Force NY 9/11 Memorial Bike Ride, taking place locally this year due to the pandemic. The opening ceremony is at 8 a.m. at the Daytona Beach Police Headquarters, 129 Valor Blvd., and the bike ride will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 60-mile, fully escorted ride will have plenty of rest and water stops with cyclists going at an average pace of 14-16 MPH. Registration is $30 and includes a T-shirt and lunch at the end of the ride. Event proceeds will benefit the families of officers killed in the line of duty.
